    clearly help.
the US is the country most in denial of global warming.
    and the worst offender.

anything we do in that direction cannot help but bee seen as a good thing.

even better, the less oil we use, the more prices come down, making them have to pay less.
    we get to win twice.

Absolutely. Too many first world countries point the finger at the third world for their pollution etc, but fail to set an example for others to follow.

It’s the same old merry-go-round; loud mouthed politicians wielding big sticks, but too gutless and incompetent to show others it can be done.

We have choices, do nothing and possibly carry on stuffing the world or do something and even if the situation does not improve at least we have implemented strategies that make for a better world for all.

Germany is an excellent example of a country which has embraced renewable energy and Iceland virtually runs on pure renewable geothermal energy, Australia is developing it, Kenya uses it for some power and other countries are investigating, USA pathetic…

    Hi,

It will help tremendously. Like it or not, we are a country that many other countries follow. If they can see that we can develop and implement these alternative energy sources, and get off oil, then it might inspire them to do the same.
