2 Responses to “Cost of heating oil tank removal?”

You should be able to negotiate a deal with the company who installs your new gas system to remove the tank. We charge $250.00 if it is done at the time of the install. The key is to find an oil company to remove any existing oil.

Whatever you do please make sure the fill and vent pipes are either removed or welded shut so no oil delivery man tries to fill your basement. It happens. It should cost a few hundred to have the tank cut up and removed.
