    It will probably be more than an apartment. They aren’t very well insulated.

    I don’t know for sure but I have heard a mobile home keeps the heat in during winter because of the aluminum it’s built with, and the fact generally they have flat roof’s, also causing more heat to remain inside.
    How is it to be heated, by propane, that’s usually cheaper than any other heat except forced hot air heat.

    Gas heat is what we have but I’m not in Michigan..it’s a very good way to heat.
    After reading the other 2 posts I think I agree with them, it’s true mobile homes can have poor insulation and faulty windows and doors.

    you would be better off in a apartment. The mobile home has poor insulation and poor windows.
