Will the work/energy be any different if the rollercoaster car is empty but still running?

It what way will it be different?
Explain scientifically…
Thank you and God bless!

Mass, and therefore weight will change, which will affect the kinetic energy which is defined as 1/2*m*v^2

If mass is increased, then kinetic energy will have to increase as well.
